WARRANTY - BRUSHES

PROFESSIONAL USE & MAINTENANCE
Professional hair brushes used daily in salon environments are exposed to significantly higher workloads than consumer use.

Regular cleaning, correct storage, and proper handling are essential to maintain optimal performance, hygiene, comfort, and product longevity.

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
HH Simonsen’s warranty covers documented manufacturing or material defects that prevent the brush from functioning as intended under normal professional use.

This includes:

  • Bristles detaching from the cushion during normal professional use.
  • Bristles sinking into the brush cushion under normal use conditions.
  • Ball tips loosening or detaching from bristle ends during normal use.
  • Brush cushions loosening or separating from the brush body.
  • Structural breakage of bristles during intended professional use.
  • Surface defects that can be documented as present before the product’s first use.

If valid proof of purchase cannot be provided, the warranty period will begin 90 days after the product’s manufacturing date according to HH Simonsen’s internal records.

WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
The warranty does not cover faults, damage, or performance issues caused by:

IMPROPER USE OR MAINTENANCE

  • Lack of regular cleaning or maintenance.
  • Use outside intended professional hair styling application.
  • Exposure to excessive heat directly on bristles or brush components.
  • Improper storage causing pressure, deformation, or mechanical stress.
  • Exposure to chemical residue, styling products, alcohol, oils, low/high pH products, or aggressive cleaning agents affecting surface finish or materials.
  • Exposure to excessive humidity, liquids, or direct UV light affecting materials, coatings, or appearance.

EXTERNAL DAMAGE OR NORMAL WEAR

  • Bent bristles caused by pressure, blow dryers, heat tools, transport, or external force.
  • Cosmetic wear resulting from normal professional use.
  • Minor scratches, fading, discoloration, or coating wear caused by daily salon use.
  • Print, coating, or surface finish wear over time.
  • Gradual softening or deformation of brush components caused by normal usage and heat exposure.

Professional salon environments may accelerate normal cosmetic and mechanical wear compared to private consumer use.

UNAUTHORIZED OR EXTERNAL CIRCUMSTANCES

  • Products purchased from unauthorized retailers or without valid proof of purchase.
  • Damage caused during transport after purchase or improper storage.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or misuse of the product.
  • Damage caused by external environmental conditions or natural disasters.

INSPECTION & VALIDATION
All warranty claims are subject to technical inspection, testing, and validation by HH Simonsen or an authorized service partner.

Perceived performance differences that fall within normal technical tolerances are not considered manufacturing defects.

IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
To ensure the longest possible lifespan and maintain optimal product quality, HH Simonsen recommends:

  • Cleaning the brush regularly to remove hair, dust, and product residue.
  • Washing hands after applying styling products before using the brush.
  • Avoiding unnecessary direct heat exposure on bristles and brush surfaces.
  • Storing the brush away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, or high temperatures.
  • Avoiding prolonged pressure on the bristles during storage or transport.

AUTHENTIC PRODUCTS
The warranty applies exclusively to products purchased directly from HH Simonsen or through an authorized HH Simonsen retailer or distributor.

HH Simonsen cannot guarantee product authenticity, quality, or safety when products are purchased through unauthorized sellers.

ADDITIONAL TERMS
Replacement of products under warranty does not extend the original warranty period.
